Payment & Casting Process at LindenTech
At LindenTech, we understand that every custom metal casting project is unique, and we’re committed to delivering high-quality results that meet your expectations. Our policies are designed to be fair, transparent, and protect both you, the client, and us as the creators. Here’s how we handle payments and the potential for casting failures.
Initial Payment & Deposit
To get started on your custom casting project, we require a 50% deposit upfront. This deposit secures your project in our schedule and covers initial costs such as materials, design preparation, and casting setup. The remaining balance is due once your project is successfully completed and ready for delivery.
Quality Guarantee: Our Approach to Casting Failures
While we strive for perfection, metal casting is a process with unique challenges, especially with intricate designs or experimental materials. If a casting fails during production, we will remake the piece at no additional cost to you. We absorb the cost of remakes when issues arise on our end, as we view this as part of our commitment to quality.
Here’s how we handle different scenarios to ensure fair and consistent service:
Routine Casting Remakes
For standard designs and materials, we will remake the casting as needed until it meets our quality standards. No extra charges will apply for these remakes if the issue was due to production.Specialty or Complex Projects
In cases where a design is particularly complex or pushes the limits of casting technology, additional attempts may be needed. While we make every effort to succeed on the first attempt, we may review the project with you if multiple remakes are required. This could involve adjustments to the design or process.
Clear Communication & Approval
For custom orders, we believe in clear communication at every stage. After we receive your deposit, we’ll begin the initial work and provide updates on the casting progress. If there are design considerations that may increase the likelihood of casting challenges, we will discuss these with you upfront.
Refunds and Cancellations
While we’re dedicated to completing every project, there may be instances where a design cannot be achieved to our shared satisfaction. If we determine that a project cannot be completed as expected, we will work with you to discuss a refund or alternative solutions.
Client-Initiated Cancellations
If you choose to cancel a project after work has started, any work done up to that point (such as design setup, material preparation, and initial casting attempts) will be deducted from the refund, and the remaining deposit balance will be returned.LindenTech-Initiated Cancellations
If we are unable to deliver a quality casting due to unforeseen technical challenges, we may initiate a cancellation and issue a partial or full refund, depending on the situation. We aim to find a fair resolution in these rare cases.
Transparency and Trust
At LindenTech, we prioritize open, honest communication. We want you to feel informed and confident in our process, whether you’re a returning customer or new to custom metal casting. Please reach out to us with any questions about these policies, or to start a conversation about your next custom casting project.
